Message from our Head Boy and Head Girl
It means alot to be Head Boy and Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy & Deputy Head Girl of Moore Primary School, because after six years here, we get the opportunity to share all the amazing opportunities and learning we have experienced with other children. Even though we have lots of responsibilities around the school; such as peer mentoring, buddies and mkaing sure all children are followind the school rules and values, we love it!
How we get our roles
The process of becoming Head Boy & Head Girl is a voting system. We have to make presentations to present in front of the school. Then the children in Years 2-6 will place their votes. The votes are counted and the Headteacher then announces the successful candidate.
Our roles and responsibilities
The duties of Head boy & Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy & Deputy Head Girl are to respresent the school by going to church on Remembrance Sunday and also for the Christmas Carol Service doing a reading. We show people around our school and explain each classroom and how everything works. The responsibilities of year six are peer mentoring, house captains, assembly monitors, ICT monitors and librarians.
