How we teach Music at Moore
Music is a unique form of communication that inspires and motivates children. It provides opportunities for personal expression, acquisition of cultural capital and the building of emotional connections. As music reflects our culture and society, learning experiences within this subject also enable children to further develop their understanding and knowledge of the world around them. Alongside providing opportunities for creativity and enjoyment, music is an academic subject that can be studied at the highest levels. At Moore Primary, we aim to engender a sense of musical appreciation in all children and provide foundations that will inspire lifelong engagement with music.
